May 28 - Knowingly to the Books

Big excitement is trip to the library, to resupply Harriet (who is off on Goat Hall Productions business much of the day) with the weekly videos -- including

Sense and Sensibility (Jane Austen, 1811 / 2008),

Shadowlands (1985),

Sherlock Holmes and the Case of the Silk Stocking (2004),

The Shiralee (1987),

Shock (1946),

Siddhartha (Herman Hesse, 1922 / 1972),

The Sign of Four (Arthur Conan Doyle, 1890 / 1930),

Slumdog Millionaire (2008), and

Soldier's Home (Ernest Hemingway, 1925 / 1977) -- on a day (when H obtains through the mail

Magnificent Obsession, 1954) consistent with the

weird weather of this month (rain with only brief intervals of sun, and temps in the 60's, in a recent trend  seemingly of warmer to colder, despite the lengthening days).

In other news, finish Psalm 57 (8-page variant on King David: IX), transfer compositions through The Pied Piper of Hamelin (Op. 116) from PC to Mac via email, create a pdf of Seasons' Eves (Op. 14): III. Autumn (Halloween), and incorporate a 20th clip for the Camino Real: Block 9 video.
