Also finish re-reading Edward Abbey's Desert Solitaire, taking a break from the typical reading of the last few years, which has been going through


The New Grove Dictionary of Music and Musicians (1980 paperback version, which is in the household, now on Volume 13 - Muwashshah to Ory) and


The Britannica Great Books series (1952, ditto, still slogging through Volume 16 - Ptolomy / Copernicus / Kepler -- interesting to note that the series now extends through Volume 60, including George Orwell's Animal Farm and Samuel Beckett's Waiting for Godot as its last works).  Also proof the upcoming


San Francisco Composers Chamber Orchestra Lost Things Found postcard back, do a lot of paper grading, and continue the PC-to-Mac transference of compositions through Flying Out the Mouth (Op. 103).
