June 3 - Ups and Downs
On spring-summer break, but where's summer? Or spring, for that matter? And off at 6:45 in initial hazy, striking sunshine --
fingers of fog making their way up Jamison and American Canyons, banks strewn across the
Napa Marsh and
Petaluma Plain --
so, by the time of the
weekly rendezvous with
Crystal
and
Stanley,
it's overcast again (remaining beautiful, however),
which does not prevent us from walking as far as we've ever done together on these recent junkets --
all the way to Junction
Plateau
and
Hill
650's
views
and
woodlands.
Retrace
steps, and take the duo (the four legged-one quite odiferous and
due for a bath --
bad dog!)
back to
their place,
then drop Crystal off for her connection to work.
After typical errands and encounters (learn the name of the drycleaner guy after all these years: Allen Rastari, originally from Iran),
head homeward
in increasing yet
interesting gloom to continue work on the January 2006 21st-Century Music reconstruction (more than halfway through), sixth page composed for Psalm 58, pdf done for fourth movement of Book ("Prehistoric Atlas") (Op. 15), orchestration the seventh page of The Countess Cathleen, transference of 20th-Century Music back issues through December 1995 from PC to Mac, and begin video of Camino Real: Block 10.
