June 15 - Here We Are Again

Another day, another quiz tomorrow -- call that Quiz 2, with content, above, for an animated and gifted group of

Music Historians,

on a toasty day with temperatures highest for the year thus far: 97.  Returning to Harriet, we set out for a warm-sunny al fresco lunch (we are the only patrons -- in the spirit of mad dogs and Englishmen -- to take to the outdoors) at Chevy's, served by our favorite super-competant photographic memoried waiter Jimmy, while the house is given over to a technician re standard maintenance.  Thereafter, it's time to head to the library to grade quizzes in the

Quiet

Study

Area,

taking a break to admire translucent

glass

patterns

and

carpets near the used-book-and-video sale area,

before being tempted by a travel-book display while heading out.

Ask the librarian if it would be permissible to ruin the display by checking volumes out, and she says yes, noting that, the indication of a fine library display is that the books get readt.  Well, yes.

More video work upon return (III. Morning Chorale from Henry Miller in Brooklyn edited as its own video), plus the very last 21st-Century Music from emailed from PC to Mac, and new pages composed and orchestrated for Psalm 62 and The Countess Cathleen (2 and 27 respectively), and pdf of movement V (part 3) of Some Stuff (Op. 16) prepared for posting with its mates at The International Music Score Library Project.
