June 8 - Singing the Blue Skies
Second day of what we hope shall be a continuous run (and reign, rather than rain) of summer for the duration,
high 70's again (78) --
cloudless -- for another outing with
Harriet, bike and walking to the
community pool, after her return from a meeting with Eileen. Before and after this, begin composition of Psalm 61 (Arabian rhythms colliding with Thomas Tallis's O Sacrum Convivium, towards an orchestration "To the Choirmaster: with Stringed Instruments," of oud, santour, and harp), pdf of second-movement Some Stuff (Op. 16), more work on the 21st-Century Music August 2011 issue and February 2006 reconstruction, orchestration of page 21 Countess Cathleen, emailing back issues of 21st-Century Music 2000 from PC to Mac (not so labor-intensive, as these are now Word, rather than Wordperfect, files), and adding a sixth video clip to the Camino Real: Block 10 video.
