March 11 - Round and Round They Sped
Harriet checks in with the therapist, and it turns out she's been over-icing (to the point of mild frostburn -- but not frostbite) and under-medicating. Already upon return she seems back on her recovery road. During her outing, make a run of parts for New Big People Old Trouble So Sunday: III. People, and later run to the
library
to
re-supply
her
with
videos --
including Little Caesar (1931) and
Lolita (1962, after Vladimir Nabokov's 1955 novel) --
re-rendezvous'ing and composing page 6 of Psalm 49, creating the second video minute of Camino Real: Block 2, and doing third draft of the Melinda Wagner article for Grove American. Also touch base with Charles Hiroshi Garrett re article lengths, and he agrees to all proposed changes, the net result being two shorter articles and three longer ones, for a total increase in coverage. Email all the first- and second-movement New Big parts to Owen.

February 27 - Bright Lights for a Birthday
It's Harriet's natal anniversary, and we celebrate over the Academy Awards,
with a Mexican repaste, cake, and ice cream on another beautifully clear but bracing day. Before this, page 20 composed for Psalm 47 and yet another piano-vocal-leaf-into-orchestration of New Big People Old Trouble So Sunday (26 -- reaching the final selection and changing allegiances from Gershwin to Stravinsky, even importing some beautiful but arguably inappropriate material from the latter -- anything to help a suspect source). Also do the day's video
(Street Songs: V. Extension Chords), and after, the final draft of the Jim Fox article for Grove American.

February 26 - Clearly Cold
Beautiful day, but chill -- high only 50 (takes a long time to actually find this information -- so many weather outlets are more concerned by the future than, even the immediate, past), and evidently a record low overnight of 28 (breaking the previous 30) -- and composition of Psalm 47 continues with page 20 (at least it's not the temperature), followed by orchestration of the 25th piano-vocal leaf (ditto) of New Big People Old Trouble So Sunday.
Watch the old heist film Topkapi (1964) with Harriet, write the final draft of the Cold Blue article for Grove American, then do a video for
Street Songs: IV. Day and Night Revolve.

February 25 - In a Daze
Psalm 47 page 19 composed and New Big People Old Trouble So Sunday piano-vocal sheet 24 orchestrated, before a
video run for Harriet
librarywise,
picking up 15 more items of interest -- including
The End of the Affair (1955),
A Farewell to Arms (1932),
Five Easy Pieces (1970),
The Flame Trees of Thika (1981),
Giant (1956),
Great Expectations (1974),
The Great Gatsby (1974),
The Great Lie (1941), and
Guess Who's Coming to Dinner (1967) --
returning
to do a YouTube opus re
Street Songs: IX. The Junkies, plus final draft of the American Baroque article for Grove American.

February 19 - A Winter's Talons
Compose page 13 of Psalm 47,
then
out to
Jackson's to buy a basket for Harriet's rolling contraption,
and make arrangements at Joe's,
before which there's time to check out the snows
and greens up
Pleasants
Valley Road to
Mix
and
Gates
Canyons,
turning
around
in
time
for
the
appointed hour. Home again, the new device on the walker proves a revolution in mobility for Harriet, who can now rediscover the freedom of fixing meals, transporting objects, etc. -- her recovery continuing at a remarkable pace. Page 18 piano-vocal-into-orchestration for New Big People Old Trouble So Sunday and a video for
Elijah Ghost: VII. Aria - "Jehoshaphat" (Chronology and Call).
