August 19 - Why Are We Here?

On the brink of emailing Tim Sachs of Oxford re missing paperwork for the majority of the Grove articles, then do a final search of two stacks -- one at the old PC (papers flying everywhere), and another on the piano bench, and, in the second, lo and behold...

Out the door to see Crystal,

the

fog

flying

over

the

Sulfur

Springs

Mountains, and hanging over the world all the way to Crestwood Rock.

Have a phone chat with Bette while waiting al fresco, then head over to Ridgewood and see the old pickup truck.

Start off solo, and find Stanley and

Christina -- Crystal's in Sacramento for a conference, oh, yes, and seems she had mentioned that last week...

Well, nice to be out, anyway,

with various errands,

over to Berkeley, where the back issue emailed last Sunday is not to be found...

Better luck next time, one supposes, plus the DVC lab is packed, so recording on Friday mornings does not seem an option for the semester.

Redemption in a clothing run to a local Pleasant Hill big box (desparate attire situation would be pending otherwise) -- a surprisingly positive experience --

then

home

for more Finale merriment (notwithstanding a couple of crashes, seemingy connected to using the Maestro font) and general music work including

Also, re all the Missa files, begin linking them with MergePDF, and make it through the Sanctus, before giving up for the day.
