August 18 - Where Were We?
The daily 21st-Century Music work, then succeed in printing precisely one copy of Theory Quiz 1 (admitedly, with 1/4-inch, rather than the standard 1/2-inch, margins -- somehow a big deal) before the heroic Brother print cartridge runs out. Blitz past the Cordelia fog to class just early enough to solve some mystery faculty member's "out of paper" copy-machine dilemma, and print out copies with minutes to spare. All seem to do well on the quiz (no heinous, clueless papers turned in), and Xavier assists with alphabetization, and will go beyond with actual paper-grading assistance in future.
Return almost immediately
(discounting a scenic supply sortie), keen to continue the learning curve on Finale, which is perhaps not quite as forboding as expected, and indeed has many impressive features -- long overdue. Work on the day's music, transitioning over to the new format --
