October 16 - Must 'a' Been Sperits

Second and final Dark Serenade performance,

now at

Chapel of the Chimes in Oakland,

with

an

eventful drive (after the daily musical tasks -- page 13 pdf of Aerial Requiem and 8 & 24 composed for Psalm 77 & The Cop and the Anthem)

and

set-up,

featuring a quixotic undertaker who disappears but reappears in time to dim the lights for the show's

closer.

Overall,

even better

acoustics and

performances than the night before, seeming to bear out the notion that a performance is worth several rehearsals, in terms of folks really becoming familiar with the music.  The enthusiastic audience includes Jane, Rob, Anand, and Rachel.  Return to encounter a smartly-converted former handicapped bus parked in front of the house, owned by Harriet's brother Tony, who's here to visit.
