Quiz 3 for the Theoreticians, with musical examples from American Indians, Gregorian Chant, and the Musica Enchiriadis, after the usual 21st-Century Music morning, then homeward to do the parts for the first two movments of Regime Change, Op. 196 -- premiere essay in using the Finale parts function, and, while at times maddening, in many ways delightful and the only way to go. One tragic flaw seems the inability to make parts numbered from a different starting point than the score (movement 2 typically will be a different file, starting from, say page 12, whereas flute part, for instance, may only be on page 2) -- a workaround can be saving one file as the parts properly numbered; then going back and saving a second version of the music in order to number the score. Meanwhile do some other typical tasks of the day...
