March 29 - There Were All These Aisles
Another 21st-Century Music post and an even warmer sunny day to DVC for dictation and board harmony on the second 8 bars of Kurt Weill's Threepenny Opera: Ballad of Mac the Knife. Fine student compositions and a quixotic improvised rendition of The Twelve Fingers: I-V, thereafter.
Zip home for
paper grading,
then back
for the
evening group, from Ludwig van Beethoven through Guiseppe Verdi,
with make-up quizzes next week. Owen bails for Yoshi's, so it's just a la Doug afterwards to rendezvous with Melanie et al at the local watering spot, then home for pdf posting of Suite ("Sol[ar]"): VIII. Saturn on IMSLP, first page edited of the second movement of Psalm 51, and work on the middle section of Camino Real: Block 4.
