Home all day with Harriet, activities including finishing the pdf's for Embedded Inventions, Op. 20, and posting same on the International Music Library Source Project, mailing out back issues of 21st-Century Music (January / February 2011 and same for 2006), and orchestrating page 51 of The Countess Cathleen.

At sunset

we

bike to the

pool and spa, returning for dinner, the next page of Psalm 64 (16) and a 17th video for The Little Prince.

 Still two days ahead of budgeted blog usage at 555MB...

July 8 - Still Movable

Crystal with a conflict today, so remain local for catch-up, including

16th movement of The Little Prince video edited.

Mid-afternoon, out for errands, including re the Journal and the

library, the latter on another Harriet video run, bringing back, among others --

July 4 - Restful Interdependence

Well, yes another day with the musical tasks in the morning, being...

for a late lunch along the

waterfront

at

Vic's

Wheelhouse,

returning homeward to the energy of local fireworks.

Lake Tahoe,

running into

heavy traffic

at

Camp Richardson,

which semi-clears for the ascent of the

Cascade /

Emerald Bay Moraine,

taking in the sights (including the

seasonal

fall near Eagle Falls and

Canyon,

and

Fannette

Island),

then water views through Rubicon and

Meeks Bays,

Tahoma, and

Homewood to the last leg of the

Truckee River Bike Trail,

from

Rampart

to

Fanny

Bridge,

via

the

Twin

Twin Crags

Bridges

and

Gatekeeper

Park.

So it's done.  The walk from the California Coast to Lake Tahoe.  On to the Nevada border, if possible in the once-a-week hikes ahead.

Meanwhile,

after

a

bit

of

refreshment,

it's back in the car

north on 89,

west on

80 in

snow visibly

less than last week,

lingering

over

the

views

at

Emigrant Gap,

then descending again to the sun's anvil of the

Sacramento Valley, and

homeward in the semi-cool.
