End of the first of two weeks re DVC Music Theory student teaching, plus compositions. As the weekend's recording scenario has changed, touch base briefly with Doug, then home for the other activities of the day, including taking in another children's classic (Victor Herbert's Babes in Toyland, in its Disney incarnation), general catch-up, and dealing with the day's musical schedule (Pdf Street Songs, system 5; composition page 61 The Cop and the Anthem and M7 Psalm 81). A second beautiful, blustery day -- although, as yesterday, almost alarming in the energy of the breeze.
Also late night on Facebook... amazed to find that there is now an "Interest" page for "Mark Alburger" -- good to hear from Brenda after all these years; however, sad news from Elaine...
