September 10 - Bound for Hot Times

Home all day with Harriet -- always nice for this to happen at least once a week -- reflecting, among other issues,

on the toasty temps of the past 40 days... 30 of which have experienced highs above 90, with the remainder in the 80's.

Finish the pdf's of Orpheus Cycle (the fifth and final section of VI. Lyre's Melody, with Finale at one point not suppressing staves as it should... although, by and large, grateful that it pretty much works... so have to produce two separate files for the piece... down, admittedly from the original five) and composition of Psalm 71 (three pages, six systems total).

Also complete re-reading of the remaining plays of Aeschylus, again in the Philip Vellacott translation,

Prometheus Bound
The Suppliants
Seven against Themes
The Persians

Although actually written, with the Oresteia, in the order below

The Persians
Seven against Thebes
The Suppliants
The Oresteia (Agamemnon, The Libation Bearers, The Eumenides)

Prometheus Bound
